Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Masta ("Masta", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Masta iOS application. Masta is operated by Sergei Mikheev.

We designed Masta to minimize the amount of information transmitted outside your device. Most information you provide to Masta is stored locally on your device.

1. Information stored on your device

Masta stores information locally on your device in order to provide and personalize the app experience. This may include:

• onboarding answers;
• focus goals and preferences;
• selected focus master and motivation style;
• focus session duration and check-in preferences;
• selected sound and music settings;
• project names and project settings;
• focus session history and progress;
• notification preferences;
• app settings;
• confirmation of certain in-app preferences or warnings.

This information is stored locally using iOS storage mechanisms. Masta does not operate a backend that uploads or stores your onboarding answers, project names, focus goals, focus history, or other focus-related information.

2. Subscriptions and purchases

Masta offers subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Purchases and subscription payments are processed by Apple. Masta does not receive or store your full payment card details.

We use Adapty as our subscription management provider. Adapty helps Masta:

• validate purchases and subscriptions;
• determine whether you have active Premium access;
• process subscription restoration;
• load subscription products and offers;
• process subscription-related events and analytics.

When you make, restore, or manage a subscription, information related to the transaction may be processed by Apple and Adapty. This can include purchase history, subscription status, transaction and receipt identifiers, product information, and related subscription events.

3. Technical information processed by Adapty

To operate the subscription system, the Adapty SDK may process limited technical information related to the app installation and device, such as:

• an automatically generated Adapty installation, profile, or session identifier;
• app version and build number;
• Adapty SDK version;
• device model;
• operating system and version;
• device locale;
• time zone;
• App Store storefront country;
• subscription and purchase-related information.

Masta's Adapty configuration disables the collection of the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and IP address by the Adapty SDK.

Masta does not provide Adapty with your name, email address, phone number, or a Masta user account identifier.

4. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Masta may schedule local notifications on your device, such as reminders related to your focus projects and daily goals.

These reminders are scheduled locally using Apple's notification framework. Masta does not currently use a remote push notification service to transmit your project information or focus data to a server.

You can disable notifications at any time through your iOS Settings.

5. Information we do not request

The current version of Masta does not request access to or collect:

• your name;
• email address;
• phone number;
• contacts;
• photos;
• camera;
• microphone;
• precise location;
• health or fitness data;
• payment card details.

Masta does not require you to create a user account.

6. Advertising and tracking

Masta does not contain third-party advertising. Masta does not currently use advertising attribution SDKs or third-party advertising networks. The Adapty SDK is configured to disable IDFA collection.

We do not sell personal information or use your information for third-party targeted advertising.

7. How we share information

Masta uses third-party services only where necessary to provide specific functionality. Currently, these services include:

Apple
Apple processes App Store purchases, subscriptions, payments, and related transaction information. You can review Apple's Privacy Policy.

Adapty
Adapty processes subscription-related and limited technical information as described above in order to provide subscription management functionality.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request.

8. Data retention and deletion

Information stored locally by Masta remains on your device until it is changed, reset, or removed. Deleting Masta from your device removes the app's locally stored data from that device, subject to any device backup functionality controlled through your Apple account and device settings.

Subscription and transaction records processed by Apple may be retained according to Apple's policies and legal obligations. Information processed by Adapty may be retained according to Adapty's applicable retention policies and legal obligations.

If you would like to request deletion of information associated with Masta that may be processed through our service providers, contact us at info@masta-timer.com. We may need sufficient technical information to locate the relevant subscription or Adapty profile.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide you with rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain processing.

You may contact us at info@masta-timer.com regarding a privacy request. For information stored only locally by Masta, you can also remove that information by deleting the app from your device.

10. Security

We aim to minimize the amount of information transmitted outside your device and limit third-party processing to services required for Masta's functionality. We rely on Apple and Adapty to protect information they process according to their respective security and privacy practices.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when Masta's functionality, third-party services, or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If an update materially changes how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
